Puma SGB Knife: Puma SGB Stag Handled Bear Folding Pocket Knife
Due to the cost of production the range has now come under the PUMA SGB (Solingen German Blade) range using German Blades from the factory in Solingen and then assembled in China to keep costs down and remain competitive in the increasingly competitive knife market.
This series of knives is very versatile as there are three different sizes to choose from ranging from the Gentleman, a small everyday carry, the Bear, Whitetail and the largest Warden which is excellent for hunters. The Bear is avaialble in both Jacaranda Handle and Stag Antler Handle.
The Bear has an overall length of 6 1/2", a blade length of approx 2 3/4" and a total weight of 3.9 oz. This is an excellent knife for hunting or every day carry.
The hollow ground satin finished blades are made of 440A German steel with a thickness between 2.5 and 3mm!
Each knife also has a Rockwell hardness of 55-57 with the Rockwell mark stamped on the blade.
The knives have features such as brass bolsters, pins and Stage Antler handles.
