Puma Knife: Puma Original German WW II KS98 Short Dress Bayonet and Scabbard
GENUINE PUMA SOLINGEN GERMANY KS 98 SHORT DRESS WWII BAYONET AND SCABBARD.
PUMA HEAD AND SOLINGEN STAMPED ON BLADE.
IT LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN FIELD USED BUT WITH VERY MINOR MARKS AND SOME VERY MINOR SURFACE SCRATCHING TO BLADE AS SEEN IN THE IMAGES
METAL SCABBARD IS AGAIN IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH ORIGINAL FROG CLIP STUD ON FRONT. IT IS A GLOSS BLACK AND AS I AM NO EXPERT, IT COULD HAVE BEEN RE-PAINTED AS I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE ORIGINAL FINISH WOULD HAVE BEEN.
OVERALL LENGTH IS 37.5CM.
HANDLE LENGTH IS 12.5CM
BLADE LENGTH IS 25CM
SCABBARD IS 28CM LONG
ORIGINAL LEATHER WASHER STILL IN PLACE ON BLADE AND HANDLE IS IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION WITH TIGHT RIVETS AND FULLY WORKING RIFLE CONNECTOR.
AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF AN ORIGINAL WWII PUMA KS98 BAYONET IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR AGE. HARD TO FIND AND RARE.
