Puma Knife: Puma Original Scrimshawed Puma Aligator 4 Star Folding Lock Blade Knife with Presentation Box
Beautiful 1978 Puma original 4-Star Nicker Folding Lock Blade Knife with beautiful Scrimshawed Aligator Scene on handle in Wooden Presentation Box with Puma Logo on top

Orange Ivory Micarta handle has been painstakingly scrimshaw painted by the renowned miniature Game painting artist Arno Hopp.
Designed to remind the viewer of painted Ivory the design features an Aligator Scene with with both a Full Length Aligator on one side and Aligator Head in a setting on the other side. The Aligator is prevailant in parts of the USA and this knife was made for the USA market.
The knife scales have been painted on both sides with the Puma Emblem on one side and signed on the other side by Arno Hopp.
Mirror finish blade stamped with the Puma Logo set this masterpiece off.
This is a beautiful and original Puma 4 Star folding lock blade knife with a really nice Scrimshawed handle in original wooden display box
The Knife is mint new condition and a real rarity. The box has a couple of marks on the top edge which can be seen in the detailed images. We have left it as-is but the small scratches would probably come out and we have left the Brass in original condition which would polish out if required.
It was made in the 1st Qtr 1978 with a date code of 12871 and is currently 48 years old
For a knife that is over 48 years old it is in mint condition, unused, unsharpened and totally original.
