Puma Knife: Puma 11 6398 Original 'Used' 1974 Hunters-Friend with custom sheath #98474

Original PUMA Hunters Friend with genuine Stag Antler handle. Model 11 6398 in very good condition for age and in the custom after market sheath

Model Number 11 6398 Hunters Friend with date stamp of 98474 being made in the 4th Qtr of 1974

Age and sharpening marks on the full tang blade as can be seen in the images and some superficial age marks near the Bolster. These would polish out but we have left it as is for the avid Puma collector.

The Blade stamping is no longer visible on the blade and this would be a good usable knife with no chips etc in the blade and it holds close to its original shape.

Blade has been lightly sharpened and knife is in good undamaged and good condition for age (currently 49 years old)

Numbered 98474, made in the 4th Qtr of 1974 and with the famous High Carbon Steel.

Overall length is approx 23.5cm with an original High Carbon Steel Straight blade of 12.5cm with a blood groove and grooved spine.

Nice aged Sambar Deer Antler Handle with 3 Brass Pins and Brass Bolster.

Full tang. Built-in finger guard. Lanyard hole. Handmade in Solingen, Germany.

The knife has been left in unmolested condition for the avid Puma user and would polish up very well if required.

NO CRACKS OR CHIPS TO STAG HANDLES

Sheath is an after market slip in custom made sheath which is hand stitched with a belt loop
This is one of the most useful knives in the Puma Stable and rarely come up.

A NICE HARD TO GET USER TO BE OUT IN THE HUNTING FIELD WITH.
