Very rare and original PUMA 1967 Right Right Hand model Trappers Companion with genuine Stag Antler handle. Model 11 6385 made in 2nd Qtr 1968 and in around 98% mint condition and in Puma Tan leather sheath with original sharpening instruction and Gold Cardboard Bottom and Green Plastic op Box with correct number and label.

Model Number 11 6385 with date stamp of 76582 being made in the 2nd Qtr 1968

Overall length is 21.5cm with an original High Carbon Steel upswept blade of 11cm.

The Knife is in overal excellent condition for a 58 year old knife and one of the best examples of this model we have come across. (we have only had 3 of these such as the rarity of the model).

The blade is in excellent shape and writing is complete and it has been lightly sharpened which can be seen in the detailed images with a few sharpening marks. It has a beautiful aged Stag Handle which was hand finished. No cracks or chips to the handle and it has a nice rich colour with fit to handle almost perfect with just a couple of age marks on the rear of the spine and one small hole at the rear of the handle in the Stag Antler which can be seen in the final image.

The sheath is in overall excellent condition with all stitching and studs in perfect order and a nice embossed Puma Logo on the front and the Puma stamps on the reverse read MADE IN GERMANY DBGM and what looks to be: 1865840. It has a nice rich Tan Brown colour. It has a few age marks which you would expect for a knife that is already 58 years old.

We have seen the Trappers Companion with various style sheathes so we are not 100% sure that this is the correct knife sheath but it came with this knife and is an excellent example of the older style Puma studded Sheathes and which are highly sought after and valuable even on their own.

The box is the original and correct labelled Gold Cradboard base and Green Plastic lid which is in keeping with the age of the knife. It again, shows some signs of its 58 year life but is complete.

We would say that this is one of the best examples of this model knife in sheath and in original box we have seen and it would be a beauty in the avid PUMA collection.
