Ontario Knife Company was an American knife manufacturer originally from Ontario County, New York. The company was founded in 1889, making it one of the oldest American knife companies in existence. Today Ontario is headquartered in Franklinville New York where they were manufacturing most of their knives.

On August 1, 2023, OKC was acquired by Blue Ridge Knives and has subsequently now been closed and sadly, these will be the last of the Ontario Knives available to us.

Ontario Knives, in collaboration with Randall's Adventure & Training, have developed the Ontario RAT-7 survival and utility knife. Ideal knife for heavy duty work such as chopping, slashing and batoning. The large broad blade is great for scraping while the choil adds a level of control when performing fine work. This knife is the perfect companion for wilderness survival, military operations, law enforcement and hunting.

The Ontario RAT- 7 is made in the USA and is 311mm overall with a 178mm black powder coated, 1095 High Carbon Steel, drop point blade. It has a tan canvas Micarta handle, and is full tang with a lanyard hole. It weighs 357g and comes complete with a black nylon belt sheath. This Ontario
RAT-7 is a good all round camping / survival knife.

A black custom fitted MOLLE compatible tactical nylon sheath with edge protecting hard plastic insert is included.
