SMF German Knife: 1950's - 60's Jagdnicker Knife with Stag Handle Decorative Inset & Sheath

Stocker & Co. (SMF-Solinger Metallwaffenfabrik) Solingen Germany

This is a mint condition older classic SMF Solingen Germany Jagdnicker Knife from the early 50's-60's with a really nice Inset Emblem built in to the Crown of the Antler Handle and surrounded by Green and Red Felt. Comes with the classic Nicker Leather and Metal Sheath.

Rare and collectable knife with the brand SMF stamped into one side of the blade

We believe it was made in either the 1950's-1960's

It is in almost mint condition, no dings etc and is unsharpened, original condition and has never been used.

An original “JagdNicker” Original handmade GERMAN knife with a beautiful shaped Crown Antler Handle

Stamped on the Blade is: SMF ROSTFREI

The handle is manufactured from finest Deer Antler. We are not sure but looking at the size of the Crown at the base, it could be from the 'ROE BUCK' and it has a very ornate metal embellishment surrounded by Green and Red Felt which is beautiful and unusual.

Specifications:
Blade length approx 4 inch  (approx. 10cm).
Total length: 8 1/2 inches (approx. 21cm)
Blade thickness: 4mm
SMF German collectors knife comes with the original Nicker Sheath made from leather with metal fittings.

Images form part of the description and show the actual Knife and only one available.

This knife was made in Germany in the early 1950's-60'S

This knife was wholly made in Germany and is very rare.

A few storage/Handling marks which can be seen in the images but I would put it as close to mint condition.

Would make a beautiful piece on the Cheese Board or in a collection of quality German made knives.
