Puma 'USER' Model 960 CUB 1978 Folding Lock Knife #23872

THIS IS A 'USER':

Please read full description and see detailed images which form part of the description.

No returns and the knife is a good user only.

Puma Cub model 960 1978
Serial No. 23872 Which means it was made in the 2nd Qtr of 1978
Stamped on one side of the blade:

960 PUMA CUB NEW STAINLESS SUPER CUTTING STEEL HANDMADE GERMANY although as per the images, some of this writing has been sharpened off.

Condition : This is a user as it has signs of age and has been sharpened. The Blade tip also sticks up slightly from the body of the knife when closed (see detailed images). Overall, it is still a usable pocket knife and well made as you would expect from Puma Germany

The handle is made from Jacaranda hard wood

A very rare knife and popular at the time and being 47 years old, is still in pretty good shape.

These knives in mint condition fetch around the $400+ mark so this is a great price for the customer who just wants to use it.

Fully made in the Puma factory in Germany

Blade thickness: 3 mm
Length closed: 97 mm
Steel / hardness: 1.4110 / 55-57 HRC
