Puma USED Model 970 Plainsman 1969 Folding Lock Knife Serial # 96011
SOS would not generally not put these older condition knives on our website but some of our customers have asked for and want a quality Puma knife even if they are older and used as a day to day carry knife of superior quality to some of the cheap knives on the market today so we have a small selection with a fair description and a fair price.

This is a rare and older Plainsman (Later called the Game Warden) Model 22 970 Lock Blade folding knife
Serial No. 96011 Which means it was made in the 1st Qtr of 1969
Condition : Good Condition. Some slight age marks as seen in images and a little pitting on the bolsters
It has been lightly sharpened with clear engraving on the blade
Stamped on one side of the blade:
970 STAINLESS PUMA-PLAINSMAN NEW STAINLES SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL PUMA GERMANY
Condition : Good. Very Good snap, good blade but a little play in the blade when in locked position.
Jacaranda handle is nicely figured and has a few age marks. Date stamp is clear.
Rivets, Bolsters have a few marks which would polish out and lock is in very good condition and overall condition is Good.
Made by Puma Germany in 1969.
