Puma USED Model 970 Game Warden 1974 Folding Lock Knife Serial # 98474
SOS would not generally not put these older condition knives on our website but some of our customers have asked for and want a quality Puma knife even if they are older and used as a day to day carry knife of superior quality to some of the cheap knives on the market today so we have a small selection with a fair description and a fair price.

This is a rare and older Game Warden Model 22 970 Lock Blade folding knife
Serial No. 98474 Which means it was made in the 4th Qtr of 1974
Condition : Fair/Good Condition. Some age marks as seen in images and a little pitting.
It has been sharpened and some of the engraving on the blade has been polished/sharpened out.
Stamped on one side of the blade is:
970 PUMA-GAME-WARDEN NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL although part of the NEW and STAINLESS has been sharpened out.
Condition : Good. Very Good snap,but a small amount of play in the blade when in locked position.
Jacaranda handle is nicely figured. Date stamp is clear.
Rivets, Bolsters and lock in very good condition and apart from the sharpened blade overall condition is Fair to Good.
Made by Puma Germany in 1974.
