Puma Rare Model 971 Game Warden 1986 Saw and Blade Folding Lock Knife #44862
This is a mint condition and rare Game Warden Model 971 with the Standard Blade and Saw Blade Lock Blade folding knife
Serial No. 44862 Which means it was made in the 2nd half of 1986
Stamped on one side of the blade:
220 971 HANDMADE PUMA GAME WARDEN GERMANY STAINLESS.
Condition : Is Mint with no play in the blades and this is the first one we have come across where both blades lock really well and it is easy to close both blades.
The 971 is notorious for being very difficult to close and force is sometimes required to close the blades properly.
Good snap, excellent nicely grained Jacaranda Hardwood Handle.
We have left this knife in absolute original condition with the Brass unpolished. A bit of Puma Polish and the Brass will be beautiful.
A very rare knife with the Plainsman and Game Warden becoming very popular.
