Stunning and extremely rare custom, large Puma Medici 'DAMAST' in mint as new condition with original Puma Black Box.

This is a very rare Damascus blade large Medici Stilleto folding knife in absolute mint unused condition.

This is the only one we have ever come across and currently (Feb 2024) Pumaknives.de have produced just 50 of a similar Damast Medici with Mammoth handle which is for sale for over $5000 USD.

The "Medici" model is a true classic among PUMA knives. Developed back in the 1950s and manufactured by Puma for many decades, this beautiful pocket knife with its typical stiletto blade sharpened on one side in a special version.

Roughly translated from Italian, 'MEDICI' means Doctors knife which would describe the stilleto surgical shaped blade. These are a stunning design and the guard folds when the blade is opened and closed.

This Large Puma Medici Lockback Knife measures approx 10.5cm closed. It has a 7.5cm Damascus stiletto blade, and overall length of approx 18.5cm with nickel silver bolsters, brass liners and natural stag antler handle with a rear lockback. 59-60 HRC. The whole knife is made in Germany

*Please note that these beautiful Medici knives were discontinued some years agao by Puma Germany due to the cost of producing this knife model.  Sporting Outback Supplies has only one of these all handmade and it has become very valuable and collectable model across the world.

The knife we have here was made in 1st half of 2003. It is very tight when opened and in original, unused, unsharpened uncarried mint condition.

 It is mint and a rare piece and worthy of any Puma collection.

The knife comes in its original Black Box.
