Puma Knife: Puma Rare 1989 model 870 Angler Knife #45982
This is a 1989 Model 870 Angler knife in excellent to mint condition and quite a rare knife to find.
This is the only one we have had the pleasure of having on the website.

1989 Puma Model 870 Angler (Fishing) Knife. The model number is 870.
Excellent to mint condition 1989 Puma 870 Anglermesser (Fishing) Knife. This knife has a Black ABS Handle.
This knife is 12.5cm long when closed with a 9.5cm slightly upswept blade with a fish descaler on the spine of the blade.
It has a 440A German Steel blade.
The knife model is 870 and the date code on the knife is 45982 which means it was manufactured in the 2nd Half of 1989 and is now 37 years old.
This Puma knife is hand made at Puma Werks in Solingen Germany. Puma makes one of the highest quality knives made.
This knife has a Black ABS plastic handle with three Nickel Silver pins.
Blade closes crisply, and the knife is unused, unsharpened and in fantastic almost mint condition for a knife that is 37 years old.
The knife blade reads: PUMA GERMNANY and on the other side of the blade: 870 STAINLESS
One small age mark as can be seen in the detailed images on the bottom side of the Aluminium frame.
This Puma knife is hand made at Puma Werks in Solingen Germany.
Puma makes one of the highest quality knives made and this is a real rarity in this condition.
This model was discontinued many years ago by Puma Germany and is very collectable.
