Puma Knife: Puma Rare 1974 Back Packer Folding Knife #45471
A rare Puma Back Packer folding lock blade pocket knife made in 1974.

In very good unused condition. It looks like it has its original edge but could have been very very lightly sharpened but not 100% sure.
Model 465 and date stamp of 45471 Made in the 1st half of 1974.
Stamped on the blade is:
465 PUMA BACK-PACKER NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL HANDMADE GERMANY.
This is an original model knife with a tight blade and positive open and close with good snap.
Hot drop point blade made of 440A steel, sand-blasted finish. Blade thickness: 2.5 mm. Rockwell hardness 55-57.
Green checkered ABS handle with Satin finish stainless bolsters and inlay shield.
Closed Length 11.5cm
Blade Length 8cm
The knife is currently 47 years old and in excellent condition for age.

Handmade in Solingen, Germany and a nice vintage condition rarity to add to your collection.
