Original and Rare 1969 PUMA White Hunter knife with Jacaranda Hard Wood Handle, original correct box and paperwork.

In its original Green Plastic topped and Gold Cardboard bottom Box with Reddish Brown Leather sheath with original Puma paperwork and original Puma Manual
The knife is in excellent condition at about 97+% with a couple of minor marks on the blade and a couple of very minor age marks on the hilt.
Knife has never been out, carried or sharpened and is completely original condition.
The knife has two tarnish marks on the left hand side of the blade near the hilt on the blade which can be seen in the detailed images. These would probably polish out but we have left it in original condition. The handle is a deep Red Jacaranda hard wood with no nicks or dings.
Knife model number is 12 6399 Puma White Hunter and control number on the knife is 96744 which means it was made in the 2nd Qtr of 1969.
The knife would polish up well but we have decided to leave it in original untouched condition.
Even has its original cardboard based box and a rare Puma information booklet which are very hard to find. The box is original with the correct label. It does show some age marks but then again, it is 56 years old.

The famous White Hunter profile was meant for use as an all purpose knife and to be either used in the field as a hunting/camping knife and came with the leather belt sheath and was regularly purchased by White Hunters travelling through Africa and South America on hunting safaris.

Steel : Genuine Pumaster Steel / 55-57 HRC
Sheath: Reddish Brown Leather with fastening stud and Puma Emblem. The sheath is in excellent condition with all stitching intact and it has the PUMA Emblem on the front. A little leather dressing would make the sheath beautiful.
All Handmade in Solingen, Germany in 1969 and now currently 56 years old and an excellent example of this model knife.
A very rare opportunity to add this to the Puma collection.
