Puma Knife: Puma 2005 Alligator Tactical Folding Lock Knife
Older Model and now no longer produced these have become quite collectable.
On investigation, there seems to be approx 'Three' similar knives in the series with this being the Alligator. The other two are the Naris and the Shark all having similar style frames and wood inlay. Links are below and we have all three on the website and they would be even more valuable to the collector to have all three in the series.
This is the Puma Alligator Model #26 8301 and this one was made in the 1st Half of 2005.
A beautiful solid alluminium framed knife with hardwood inserts to the handle. It is a Liner Lock style knife and comes in original and correct box with correct matching warranty card.
The Puma Alligator Linerlock Folding Knife. Model 288301.The knife is 4 1/2 inches closed with 3 1/16 inches of German Stainless Steel blade. The blade is a semi Tanto style and has a bead blast finish and dual thumb studs. It has a Nice wood inserts on each side of the handle and a belt/pocket clip on one side as well as a lanyard hole. It is made for one hand opening for either right or left hand. This knife has never been carried and only sharpened at the factory. The blade is etched with: "alligator 288301 GERMANY 105/RC " along with the PUMA logo. Hardness 55-57 RC.
Handmade in Solingen, Germany and currently 21 year old and in mint unused condition at about 99% (couple of little marks on one side of blade where it closes in to handle).
