1988 Vintage Puma Sport Knife with walnut handles. The date stamp is 22881. This knife was made in the 1st half of 1988.

This knife measures 7 3/4" overall with a 3 1/4" blade. The blade is etched: 777 PUMA SPORT - NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL. PUMA GERMANY STAINLESS 22881.

The reverse of the blade is etched PAT.PEND 

Etching on the Blade is Full & Clear with the Rockwell sticker & diamond mark.

The knife features a chequered Walnut handle with brass rivets.

The 777 Sport has a button locking system. It locks in the open as well as the closed position.  An excellent Safety feature.

99.9% Mint condition, knife opens and closes with good snap and no wobble.

Comes with original box, matching warranty and papers.

Probably the best example we have had so far and a real rarity in this condition.

Very Collectable and hard to find this is in mint condition unused and unsharpened in original Green and Yellow matching box with matching warranty card and additional paperwork.

Beautiful Walnut hard wood handle, Blade is original with factory edge.

It is in overall Excellent condition and quite rare especially in this condition and with this more desirable Green/Yellow Box and original Cardboard Sleeve. (Cardboard sleeve has a few storage marks as can be seen in the final image)

Made in 1988, now in 2022, it is 34 years of age and an absolute beauty and rarity.
