Vintage PUMA Model 3573 Boot Knife with genuine staghorn handle and original Sheath.
Model 3573 Boot Knife. Date Code: 62273 Made in the 3rd Qtr 1972
Overall blade length is 4 1/2", and full length is approx 8" with Puma Solingen Made in Germany Rostfrei Handerbeit Bestell-NR 3573 stamped on the blade with a Rockwell Hardness Test: 55-57 HRC. Full tang.
Comes with original Nicker style leather sheath. Handmade in Solingen, Germany

This knife is over 48 years old and is in great condition for age and would be best described as an original knife in very good to excellent condition.
The knife has not been used and has not been sharpened. It is in ovearl very good condition with a good edge and no chips etc in the blade. It has very minor surface rust/tarnish on the very edge of the cutting edge which can be seen in the images and a couple of superficial marks and has been left in original condition for the Puma Collector. The beautiful Sambar Antler handle is in great shape as are the rivets.
The leather sheath is in excellent condition with the stitching intact and lovely silver metalwork at each end.
