1989 Big Bowie by Puma with wooden handle, original sheath and wooden box and a real rarity.

Excellent overall condition Big Big Puma Original Puma Bowie knife with Jacaranda Handle in original wooden display box and matching warranty card.

Rare and very hard to find Model Number 12 6356 in this original condition.

Puma Original Bowie and was made 1989 with a date code of 45982 (2nd Half of 1989)

12 6356 Original Puma-Bowie HANDMADE GERMANY stamped on blade.

Original Bowie Knife. 39cm overall length with a 25.5cm German original steel blade and 14cm Jacaranda Handle (including guard). Full Tang solid construction. Polished Nickel Silver Finger Guard. Genuine Nicely figured Handle with two Brass Rivets. Comes with original medium coloured Brown brown leather belt sheath with Puma Emblem on front Stud and SOLINGEN WESTERN GERMANY stamped on leather.

Entire knife is Handmade in Solingen Germany and is very rare.

We have only had the pleasure of having three of these in the last 12 years so quite rare and very collectable.

CONDITION: (Forming part of the description with the images.)

This knife is an original Big Steel Bowie knife with Jacaranda handle from 1989 and is in excellet overall condition for 36 year old knife.

Blade:There are no nicks etc in the blade and it has never been out of the box, used or sharpened. It has one age mark near the hilt which can be seen in the detailed images.

Handle: The handle is a nice darker figured Jacaranda with no dings and dents and the rivets are nice and tight.Please note the detailed images as the fit to handle on the wood is not quite the quality you would expect and the wood may have shrunk slightly ovr age exposing the edge of the metal.

Sheath: The sheath is a nice rich medium colour in excellent condition with no marks and no dings. The knife has never been in the sheath and the matching warranty card is attached to the sheath.

Box: Box is the original Puma dovetailed joint wooden box with foam lining and overall in great condition but there are a couple of cracks in the underside of the box which has probably come from storage. The foam lining is in good condition for age.

The unsharpened blade is perfect and we have chosen to keep the knife in unpolished, unmolested and completely original condition.

You would be very hard pushed to find a knife of this age in this condition and these bigger Bowie knives are extremely rare and sought after world wide with most finding there way over to the USA.
