Around the 98% mint and beautiful condition Puma 1966 Original Skinner knife in original Wooden Dovetailed box, Original paper work and Brass Plaque
One of the nicest Skinners we have had so far.
Rare and very hard to find in this condition, Model Number 6393 Skinner.
Stamped on blade: PUMA SKINNER GENUINE-PUMASTER-STEEL GERMANY BEST.No.6393
Date Code on the knife is: 42606 (Made 2nd Qtr 1966)
Overall length is 9 1/2", with a 5 1/8" polished German steel upswept blade.
German steel blade. Full Tang. Polished Aluminum Finger Guard. Genuine Sambar Stag Handle. Comes with original Tan brown leather belt sheath with Puma Emblem on the front and also on the studs.
Entire knife is Handmade in Germany and are getting more scarce in this condition
CONDITION: (Forming part of the description with the images.)
This knife is an original Skinner knife from 1966 and is 59 years old and around 98%
It has not even been sharpened and includies the sharp top edge and is a nicely polished blade as can be seen in the images with blade writing in perfect condition. There are no nicks etc in the blade and just a few very tiny age marks near the hilt on one side of the blade.
The detailed images show the knife and any minor marks would polish out but we have left it in untouched condition.
It also has its original Wooden Dovetailed Box. (It has a few storage marks as can be seen)
The sheath is original and in almost mint condition with nice Puma Stud with all stitching and rivets in place. The knife looks to have been in the sheath but no wear.
The handle is made from a nicely figured Lighter Coloured Sambar Deer in accordance with what was available at the time and the overall condition of the knife is almost mint.
A really good opportunity to pick up an almost mint condition Skinner in original box with all the extras.
