As new, unsharpened and unused in almost mint condition, this is one of the beautiful original Russian hand made Special Edition Laser etched Patterned Kizlyar knives that first came in to the country about 15 years ago.

This one is un-numbered and came directly from Kizlyar Russia to Australia to the then dealer and has been in a collection ever since.

Beautiful design and construction this hand made knife is an absolute beauty. 

This knife is based on a traditional form of Russian hunting knife with a mix of traditional Caucasian elements and modern day materials. This model, has a blade of a traditional Russian pattern with a drop point, a long false top edge that terminates into drop spear tip.

A handle of stacked and compressed leather washers is hand shaped and polished to a high lustre. The pommel is threaded and therefore is screwed to the tang and can be adjusted accordingly by tightening a nut on the pommel cap.

This knife features a mirror polished blade with decorative etching, .136" blade stock and .963" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle has a stainless steel guard and butt with a stacked leather grip and comes with black leather sheath with fastening stud

NB: Please note, this is one of the older first in the country Kizlyar knives and is quite collectable.

*Condition : It has never been used or sharpened and is in excellent condition at around 99% Mint. The Black Leather handle has a few minor compression marks pertaining to age as seen in the images which would come out with leather conditioning and the blade has a couple of very faint marks near the tip from going in and out of the sheath which would polish out but we have decided to keep it as original condition.

These Original Kizlyar knives are very hard to find and this is a beauty.
