Translucent polycarbonate handle slab (in blue).  Polycarbonate (PC) is a thermal-resistant plastic with a high degree of transparency that filters light better than glass. Withstands temperatures of -135° to 135°C.

The blades are made from food-compliant 420B stainless steel, 52 to 54 HRC (Hardness Rockwell C-Scale). Please note that as the blade is made from stainless steel, it does rust if not dried properly after each use.
