GPS is fine, but what if your batteries are flat ?
A compass does not use them and is an essential piece of your survival kit.

Follow the example of an SAS trooper, he always has a compass so you should too !

You can spend in to the hundreds of $'s buying some brands of compass or GPS but be careful as some of these do not work and rely on batterise or Satalites if you are out in the field, being lost is a matter of life and death.

Our compasses work, point directly to magnetic north consistently and are fine in the Southern Hemisphere and don't cost a fortune.

Please note the watch in the last image is not included and is just to show that you can take the compass off the wrist band and attach it to your watch strap.

This one is mine and the watch has not affected the magnetics of the compass and it points in the correct position.
