This classic and reliable knife, Buck Ranger is a smaller version of the 110 Folding Hunter®. Easy opening and closing with the nail notch and lockback design. With Finger Grooves for added grip support.

The advantage of the clip blade is that the crescent tip makes the blade thinner with a sharper point. This shape provides good control for detail work and cutting in tight places. It is also well suited for intentional punctures like new holes in your belt, etc. While the point of the blade is effective for detail work, it's not as strong as the thicker points on drop points and skinners.

The first Buck knife was produced in 1902 by a young Kansas blacksmith apprentice named Hoyt Buck who was looking for a better way to temper steel so it would hold an edge longer. Hoyt made each knife by hand, using worn-out file blades as raw material. His handy work was greatly appreciated during World War II. After the war, Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947.
Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the Model 110 Folding Hunter. The folding “lockblade” knife made Buck a leader. A position Buck proudly holds today.
