One of the best examples of this highly sought after knife.

Serial No. 18481 Which means it was made in the 1st half of 1984

Stamped on one side of the blade:

973 PUMA-GAME-WARDEN NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL HANDMADE GERMANY

Condition : Is Mint with no play in the blades. This is the typical harder to close model which seems to be a common part of this model knife.

The 970-71-73 models were notorious for being very difficult to close and force is sometimes required to close the blades properly.

Good snap, excellent nicely figured and grained Jacaranda Hardwood Handle.

We have left this knife in absolute original condition with the Brass unpolished. A bit of Puma Polish and the Brass will be beautiful.

A very rare knife with the Plainsman and Game Warden models becoming very popular.
