Around the 99.5% mint and beautiful condition Puma 1981 rarer model 6373 Skinner knife in Puma Tan Brown Leather sheath with correct Yellow and Green labeled box and matching warranty and sharpening instructions.
The best 6373 Skinner we have had so far and this is only the 3rd we have had in our store.
It differs from the standard 11 6393 by having a Nickel Silver Butt Pommel
Rare and very hard to find Model 6373 in this condition, Model Number 6373 Skinner.
Stamped on Blade is: PUMA GERMANY 6373 PUMA-SKINNER NEW SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL
Date Code on the knife is: 15181 (Made 1st Half 1981)
Overall length is 9 1/2", with a 5 1/8" polished German steel upswept blade.
German steel blade. Full Tang. Polished Aluminum Finger Guard. Genuine Sambar Stag Handle handle with Nickel Silver Pommel.
Comes with tan brown leather belt sheath with Puma Emblem on the stud.
Entire knife is Handmade in Germany and are getting more scarce in this condition
CONDITION: (Forming part of the description with the images.)
This knife is an original 6373 Skinner knife with the Polished Nickel Silver Bolster which differs from the 6393 standard Skinner model. Made in 1981 and is 44 years old and around 99.5%
It has not been sharpened and is a nicely polished blade as can be seen in the images with blade writing in perfect condition. There are no nicks etc in the blade.
The detailed images show the unmolested knife and any minor marks would polish out but we have left it in untouched condition.
The sheath is the correct Tan Brown model original Puma Skinner Sheath in brand mint condition with nice Puma Stud with all stitching and rivets in place. The knife has never been in the sheath.
The box which is the Green and Yellow Plastic Puma box with the correct number label PUMA 6373 SKINNER STAINLESS
The handle is made from a nicely figured Sambar Deer in accordance with what was available at the time and the overall condition of the knife is almost mint.
A really good opportunity to pick up a harder to find 6373 Skinner Model
