Puma Knife: Puma Vintage Pre-64 USED 3573 Boot Knife with Stag Handle & Custom Sheath
A nice Vintage 'Used' PUMA Model 3573 Boot Knife with genuine Stag Antler handle and original Sheath.

Model 3573 Boot Knife. Date Code: No date code and was made pre-1964
Now 60+ Years Old
Overall blade length is 4 1/2"
Full length is approx 8"
Stamped on the blade is: PUMA SOLINGEN MADE IN GERMANY ROSTFREI HANDERBELT HANDARBEIT BESTELL NO.3573 although due to sharpening, it is not as clear as some of the Puma Boot Knives we have.
With a Rockwell Hardness Test: 55-57 HRC. Full tang.
Comes with a very nice custom made leather sheath. Handmade in Solingen, Germany
This knife is over +60 years old and is in around 90+% condition for age and would be best described as an original knife in excellent 'USED' condition.
The knife has been used and has been sharpened and has a very nice sharp edge. It is in overall very good condition with a good edge and no chips etc in the blade. It has surface and sharpening marks on the blade as can be seen in the detailed images and the beautiful Sambar Antler handle is in great shape as are the rivets and has a nice aged look to it.
The custom aftermarket leather sheath is in excellent functional condition with the stitching intact and would probably been changed to have a retaining strap so the knife was not lost in the field.
