This is a really nice EUROCUT Branded Solingen Germany Original 5 1/4" Bowie Knife circa 1960's-80's.

There does not seem to be much information available on the EUROCUT brand but it would seem that several top quality Solingen companies made 'EUROCUT' branded knives within their factories alongside their own brands between the 1950's-1980's.

These companies included : Puma, Linder, Herbertz, Schlieper, Boker, PIC, Wider and other quality brands.

We are pleased to be able to offer around 30 of these knives of all different styles which came from a Puma Australia Salesman's samples from this period.

They are all new and unused and in excellent overall condition with just a few age and storage marks where noted in the individual descriptions.

EUROCUT, Solingen Germany 5 1/4" Original Thin Blade Bowie Knife with dark stacked wood handle.

96-98% mint condition. A few age marks on the blade and Sheath as can be seen in the detailed images but the knife has never been used or sharpened.

Overall length of the knife is approx 23.5cm long with a Thinner Bowie Style Surgical Steel Blade of very solid construction and approx 13.5cm long and approx 5mm thick and 1.9cm at its widest point. The handle is approx 10.5cm long
It  has a nice Mirror Polished Silver blade and stamped on one side of the blade is: SURGICAL STEEL EUROCUT and on the other side is SUPER HOLLOW GROUND and SOLINGEN GERMANY

The handle looks to be sectioned dark (Possibly Ebony) hardwood with aluminium and spacers, an Aluminium guard and Alluminium Pommel

It comes with a solid Black leather belt sheath with securing stud which is stitched and riveted and has a Red Deer Stag embossed on the front of the sheath.

It is a classic, solid and well made German Hunting Knife and worthy of a good collector or owner looking for a character quality made knife.
