Solingen Germany 'EL TORO' (The Bull) Large Carving Knife set with Deer Scene on blade and Meat Fork plus 6 x Steak Knives. Circa 1930'S-50's
All in excellent condition.
1. Carving knife has been used and lightly sharpened and has a few age marks on it as can be seen in the detailed images.
Stamped on the Blade is Schmidt & Zieglier SOLINGEN GERMANY CHROME STEEL HAND FORGED STAINLESS with a nice smooth Red Deer Stag standing in a forest scene. Lovely Fat lighter coloured one piece Deer Antler Handle with Nickel Silver Cap.
Overall length is 29cm with an 17cm blade which is 2.5cm wide.
2. Roast Meat 2 Prong Fork has a lovely one piece light Deer Antler Handle and again almost mint condition. It has CHROME STEEL GERMANY stamped near the prongs and has a Silver Nickel Cap.
Overall length is 26cm long with a 12cm Handle
3. 6 x (we think) unused and unsharpened Steak Knives with Genuine Deer Antler Tip Handles.
Overall length is approx 22cm long with a 12cm sharp straight cut blade. semi tang construction with Deer Antler Handle which are resin glued.
All items are in excellent condition and would make a great present or addition to your Dinner set
The solid wooden box is in great condition with all lining intact.

1 x Meat Carving Knife (Stamped on Blade is: Schmidt & Zieglar, Solingen Germany CHROME STEEL HAND FORGED) It has a Red Deer Stag engraved on the blade.
6 x Steak Knives (Stamped on each Blade is: Schmidt & Zieglar, Solingen Germany CHROME STEEL HAND FORGED)
A lovely 8 piece dinner set. As the Carving set is circa 1930-50's and all 8 pieces have genuine Stag Antler Handles, we would not suggest washing them in a modern dishwasher and they should be hand washed only.
