Nice Puma 1966 Original Bowie knife model 11 6396 in original sheath

57 years old, and in pretty good condition, these are quite hard to find.

Model Number 11 6396. Original PUMASTER Steel Knife. Number is 74606 (Made Qtr 4 1966)

Puma Stag Original Bowie Knife. 11" overall length with a 6 3/8" German PUMASTER steel blade. Full Tang. Polished Aluminum Finger Guard. Genuine Sambar Stag Handle.

The knife is in good overall condition for age, it looks as if it may have been very very lightly sharpened and does have some surface tarnish on the blade as can be seen in some of the images.

This, we are sure would polish out but we have decided to leave this knife unmolested for the Puma collector.

There is no pitting in the blade and just a few tarnish age marks on the right hand side near the hilt and the writing is a little blurred.

All the writing is there but a little tarnish on part of it.

The handle is a rich Deer Antler and good on both sides and is probably more a right hand knife. The Alloy hilt is good and the knife number is clear. #74606

It comes with the original Tan brown leather belt sheath with Puma Emblem on front and Puma emblems on the studs with the clasp is in excellent condition. The sheath looks unused..

This knife is an original PUMASTER Steel Bowie knife from 1966 and is 57 years old and excellent condition for age.

This would make a very nice user or the perfect knife to start off your collection.

Although this one is not a mint example, if you are looking for an original Puma Bowie with a bit of age and character in excellent condition this is the perfect knife to be used in the field or as part of your collection.
