A very rare, matching number Twin Knife Waidbesteck Set

This is the famous Puma Waidbesteck Twin Knife set and this one is one of the best and rarest we have come across as it is in near mint condition, made in 1985 and both knives have their matching warranty cards and both knives are matched numbers which is rare to see.

The Waidblatt is code number 19581 meaning it was made in the 1st Half 1985

The Jagdnicker is code 19581 and made in the 1st Half of 1985

A vintage set in original box and original Dark Green Sheath and foam lined wooden box.

This set is in excellent condition and is currently approx 38 years old.

Both knives are structurally excellent condition and in mint, unsharpened, no chips etc condition.

The JagdNicker is mint condition.

 A few minor storage/age marks on the box but we would place this set as 99% mint with just a few age marks on the foam in the box

The Waidblatt is again, excellent/mint condition, unsharpened and no chips etc with the code number:19581 and made in the 1st Half of 1985

These sets were often non-matching numbers as the knives were often purchased individually to make up a set and occasionally buyers had to wait for Puma to complete one of the two knives with sometimes several months or a year going before the other knife was completed, hence the different year numbers but in the case of this set, both knives were made in the same year.

Comes complete with its original Excellent condition Sheath, matching warranty cards to the knives, and original wooden box with metal fittings.

These are highly sought after and to get a current model set out of Puma Germany usually takes us between 9-12 months to pre-order as these sets are very hard to obtain as Puma only produce them once per year.

This set is vintage but new and never used or sharpened etc and would be seen as mint condition.

Knife set and Sheath are in excellent to mint condition. The wooden box is good solid an excellent condition. We have left this set in un-molested condition for the Puma collector for a Mint condition matching number set.
