This is an original Pre-1964 Waidblatt knife in the older Green Leather Sheath in very good condition for a knife around 65 years old.

For the collector who wants an older original 1950's Waidblatt in used condition. It has been left as is and is priced accordingly to its condition etc.

These are highly sought after and this is an original Pre-1964 model (We know it is circa from the late 1950's). So around the 64-65 year old mark.

It is in very good condition for its age with only surface marks on the blade which I am told from a restoration expert would polish out but we have decided to keep it 'as is' in original condition.

Stamped on one side of the blade is: WAIDBLATT hach Oberforstmeister FREVERT

Stamped on the other side is: PUMA-WERK GERMANY BEST.Nr.3588

A few marks on the knife as can be seen in the detailed images with the Brass Pins, Stag Handle etc all intact. Nice Deer Antler handle with no cracks etc and it is a real meaty and solid knife.

The leather sheath is in very good condition and looks to be from the Waidbesteck Twin Knife sheath that holds the JagdNicker knife on the front which has been removed at sometime in its past.

All the stitching is intact, it is solid and has the clasps which may have been replaced at some stage. *Note the varying colours of the sheath.
