Original PUMA White Hunter with genuine Stag Antler handle. Model* 11 6377 in mint condition.

This is a stunning and mint condition Puma White Hunter with original Pumaster Steel.

The difference with this knife is that the model number on most (including current model) Puma White Hunters is 11 6375 and this model is *11 6377 which makes me believe it was made for a special market of either USA or Germany only (I would be happy to stand corrected and for any information on this from our more knowledgable regular Puma Knife collectors)

It also has a diffeernt sheath than the regular White Hunters in that it is textured with a nice rich reddish colour and has the original Puma fastening stud and also the Puma heads on all the rivets and Puma logo on the reverse. (there are a couple of very minor age marks on the front of the sheath as can be seen in the detailed images but these would come out with some leather polish.

We have decided to keep this in unmolested original condition. 

Highly collectable in original leather sheath, Green and Yellow Matching model number box with original additional paperwork and sharpening instructions.

Numbered 35672, made in the 2nd Qtr of 1976 with original Pumaster Steel.

Overall blade length is 10 5/8", with original Stainless steel. 5 7/8" blade.

Full tang. Built-in finger guard. Lanyard hole.  Handmade in Solingen, Germany.

The PUMA White Hunter model was developed in 1956 in conjunction with the East African Professional Hunter’s Association to be the leading knife for big game hunting.

The Puma White Hunter, introduced in 1956,  was in production for Eight years before the introduction of the Puma control number system. This number, a.k.a. Production Code or Date Code was introduced in the 4th Quarter of 1964 to assist PUMA with quality control and product improvement processes. 

The White Hunter is the knife that made PUMA famous in the hunting knife market. It also earned them international recognition as a premier maker of quality production knives. This recognition promoted rapid growth in exports. One of there largest markets was the United States. 

The knife has nice stag handles. The blade was made from German Pumaster steel. The knife measures 10 1/2" overall with a 5 7/8" blade.
