Puma Knife: Puma 1990 Australian Wildlife Collection 'Crocodile' model 985 Custom Folding Knife with Ebony Handle Original Box and matching Warranty #169/200
Wow, now this is a real rarity.
Rare and absolute Mint condition 1990 PUMA Model 220 985 Custom Folding Knife with genuine Ebony handle in original box and matching warranty card.
This is the 2nd edition Australian Wildlife 'Crocodile' Knife which is numbered 169 of 200 made and very hard to come by.
Beautiful Puma Custom 985, design by Richard Hehn. Handmade in 1990.
The steel part of handle is one piece made completely from stainless steel, no bolsters or liners. New Customs are nickel silver which are much easier to manufacture. Scales are Ebony Exotic hard wood.
6 3/4" long open and 4" closed.
Mint condition, knife opens and closes with good snap and no wobble.
Comes with original wooden box, and warranty card.
This is the only example of this knife we have had so far and a real rarity especially in this condition.
Very Collectable and hard to find this is in mint condition unused and unsharpened in original Green baize lined matching box with matching warranty card
On one side of the knife blade is etched: 220 985 STAINLESS PUMA CUSTOM SOLINGEN GERMANY.
On the other side is: Design Hehn HANDMADE.
The handle has an inlaid Australian Salt Water 'Estuarine' Crocodile in Gold and on the other side is engraved the words: Australian Wildlife 2nd Edition 1990 No 169/200
Date code is: 24091 which means it was made in the 1st Half of 1990.

This is an older but new Puma 985 Puma Custom Ebony Handled Knife. It is unsharpened, unused and maintains approx 99.9% condition
Beautiful Ebony exotic hard wood handle, Blade is original with factory edge.
It folds nicely with a crisp snap.
It is in overall Excellent condition and very rare.
Made in 1990, now in 2023, it is 33 years of age and an absolute beauty and rarity.
