Very rare Puma Combo set featuring a Pre-1964 Puma 6395 Gutting Knife and a Puma Hunters Pal from 1990.

Although not quite a matching pair, this is still a nice collectable set for the avid Puma Collector and an older pre 64 Hunters Pal would set this set off but still a fine collectable set as it is.

In excellent condition, very very lightly sharpened with blade intact and writing in perfect condition.

Nice figured Deer Antler Handle with three pins.

Genuine German Stainless Blade.
Blade length: 3-3/4 "

This knife had been kept in the sheath and one side of the blade is in spotless condition. The other side has some tarnish marks caused by the tanning in the sheath which has also caused most of the original writing to be obscured. Again, very very lightly sharpened and in very good condition with lovely Deer Antler scales which are similar in colour to the other knife.

The Sheath is in good condition for pre-1964 with just a few age marks. It is a very dark Forest Green colour and the knives fit nice and tightly in the sheath as a combo set. Made in Germany is stamped on the back and the Puma head is visible on the front embossed in the leather.

Knives have been very lightly sharpened and polished as can be seen in the images with some of the writing polished out on the Hunters Pal. There are no nicks etc in the blades, the sheath is in excellent condition for age

The handles are matching Sambar Deer Antler and are a nice dark grain in accordance with what was available at the time and the overall condition of the knives is very good.

Although this one is not a mint example of the Hunters pal if you are looking for an original Puma Hunters Pal with a bit of age and character this is the perfect knife set to be used in the field along with the older Gut Hook Knife whish is now very rare.
