Ontario Knife Company was an American knife manufacturer originally from Ontario County, New York. The company was founded in 1889, making it one of the oldest American knife companies in existence. Today Ontario is headquartered in Franklinville New York where they were manufacturing most of their knives.

The Ontario Knife Company was an American manufacturer of knives and other edged and military tools.

On August 1, 2023, OKC was acquired by Blue Ridge Knives and has subsequently now been closed and sadly, these will be the last of the Ontario Knives available to us.

The AFGHAN Knife is like all Ranger Series knives, tough and built like a tank. It is made from quarter inch thick 5160 steel that has been heat treated and triple tempered to 58 RC. It comes standard with tan or olive drab canvas micarta handles. It has a protective epoxy-polyester hybrid powder coat and is supplied with a nylon sheath with plastic insert. One piece of quarter inch steel and two micarta scales, simple yet powerfully effective! black custom fitted MOLLE compatible tactical nylon sheath with edge protecting hard plastic insert is included.
