This is a Rare and good condition Puma Germany Model Number 88 cut throat razor which comes in its original *wooden box. (*It could be Plastic made to look like wood, it is very hard to tell)

This is old original and good condition Razor made by Puma Solingen Germany and the images form part of the description.

Hand Made in Solingen Germany.

Overall length when opened is 25cm

Blade length is approx 8.2cm (cutting edge) and 15cm overall

Closed length is approx 14.5cm

This is an older very collectable Puma Model No:88 Razor in Original *Wooden Puma Box.

We believe it is from the 1950's but are no experts and would be interested to know ourselves ?

This is quite old and original in good condition and has a razor sharp edge with no nicks to the cutting edge. (We have left the Blade untouched and un-polished)

Box is in excellent almost mint condition. The Razor show a few signs of age and there is one small gap in the right hand side of the handle as can be seen in the detailed images.

It looks as if it could have been fashioned and polished out so as the index finger stays on the lever part of the blade when in the open position and the second finger rests nicely in the gap so it may have well been used by a Barber. No signs of wear on the Original *Wooden Box

Orangie/Yellow coloured Bakalite Plastic material handle with Puma logo with a few age marks.

One side of blade is marked:  88 5/8 PUMA SOLINGEN.

The other side of the blade reads: MADE IN GERMANY FROM BEST PUMASTER-STEEL.

Blade is good and the overall condition of the Razor and Box is aged but very good condition

Original *Wooden best quality box which has the Puma Head Trade Mark embossed on the front.
