Very Rare and made in Solingen Germany around the early 70's.
2 2/3" Stainless Super Keen Cutting edge steel blade, 3 5/8" closed.
Nickel Steel Bolsters, blade is crisp to close with original factory unsharpened edge.
Jacaranda wood scale handle with brass PUMA shield.
Still has its original label on the handle.
Stamped on the blade is: HANDMADE 667 PUMA-PROSPECTOR NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL.
Condition: Excellent for age with a few tiny age marks.
Blade has never been sharpened, and overall the knife is in excellent condition and although the knife has never been outside, it does have a few age spots inside and on the back of the knife ( which can be seen in the images) but it is still a great example of the rare Prospector knife in original condition.
This is an unused, but old model and therefore we have put it in the category of Vintage and Collectable.
Some of the knives in this category may have blemishes and marks from time, storage, minor sharpening and handling etc.
Be assured, most are very rare and all are collectable
