This Vintage 1983 Large Puma Medici Lockback Knife measures approx 4"closed. It has a 3" stainless stiletto blade, and overall length of approx 7 1/4" with nickel silver bolsters, brass liners and natural stag antler handle with a rear lockback. 55-57 HRC. The whole knife was made in Germany with a date stamp of 39382 and made in the 2nd Qtr of 1982.

Please note that these beautiful Medici knives were discontinued by Puma Germany some years ago due to the cost of producing this knife model.  Sporting Outback Supplies has one or two of the older and more modern Medici's left and these are all handmade and are very valuable and collectable now and in the future.

This is one of the earlier and very collectable model Medici knives made in 1983 and has Medici stamped on the bolster. It is very tight when opened and in original, lightly sharpened and excellent condition for age. It has a sharp with a polished finish blade and stamped Puma Germany on one side of the blade and MEDICI on the bolster. It has a well figured darker and yellowish Sambar Stag Antler Handle. It closes with a nice snap and although there are a few age marks on the knife (as can be seen in the images) it is in excellent condition and a real collectable knife to the Puma Enthusiast. The date stamp 1st number is slightly faded but has been confirmed by Pumaknives.de as #39382 2nd qtr of 1982 and is now 41 years old
