This is an older aged and original Puma Bantam 480673 made in 1979

Now 42 years old and with a date code of 13971 meaning it was made in the 1st half of 1979. 

Really nice aged Sambar Deer Antler handle with Gold Puma Medalion inbedded in handle.

Stamped on the blade is: 673 PUMA BANTAM NEW STAINLESS SUPER KEEN CUTTING STEEL HANDMADE GERMANY

Puma Bantam measures 3 1/4" when closed. It has two blades: a 2-3/4" spearpoint and a 2" spey blade. Both blades are forged the famous 'NEW' Cutlery Stainless Steel. Its attractive handle is made from Sambar Deer Antler. Made in Solingen, Germany.

It is in excellent condition for its age and maintains its extremely sharp factory edge. A little weathered with age but has been left in original condition for the collector and would clean up very well.

Closes with good snap and no nicks etc in the blade or handle.

A superb little pocket knife and great example of the Puma Bantam which would give plenty of years of use.
