Camillus Knife: Camillus Safari Series Cape buffalo 375H&H Folding Knife
This is a very collectable and rare Camillus made in the USA 4-1/2" 2 Blade Safari Series Trapper Knife with original box and paperwork.
Model CSS-1 Safari Series Cape Buffalo 375 H&H Magnum.
Has not been used or carried and was opened just to photograph. blades have good snap with no chips or cracks.
Handle is made of solid Cocobolo Wood with a Nickel Silver Bolsters and the base of a centrefire cartridge with RP 375 H&H MAG (the H&H stands for the famous English Gun maker Holland & Holland.
Classic looking and very collectable and was made in late 1980's-mid 1990's
On the left side of the Spey blade is marked CSS-1 with an African Game Scene featuring a Cape Buffalo and the drop point blade says 'CAMILLUS SAFARI SERIES' and the Camillus Stamp at the base with NY USA
Country of manufacture is Camillus New York USA
Overal length approx: 11.5cm closed
Cip point blade Length approx: 9.cm
Spey Blade is approx: 9cm
Overall length when fully opened approx : 20cm
Good solid well made knife and great talking piece for the discerning collector.
Nice Unused Condition. Factory intact edge. Never sharpened, carried, or cleaned. No chips or cracks in handles.
