Stunning mint example of this beautiful Puma knife.
In its original correct Yellow and Green Plastic Box with Tan Leather sheath and sharpening instructions.
Absolutely mint condition with no marks on either sheath or knife.
Knife has never been out, carried or sharpened and is completely original condition.
Knife model number is 12 6390 AUTO and control number on the knife is 23981 which means it was made in the 1st half of 1989.
Blade reads 12 6390 HANDMADE PUMA AUTO GERMANY STAINLESS
The AUTO knife (Following the famous White Hunter profile) was meant for use as an all purpose knife and to be either used in the field as a hunting/camping knife with the leather belt sheath and then when in the car, the knife was removed from the leather sheath and a Plastic sheath housed the knife in the side door or conveniently placed in the roof lining of the vehicle.
Hence the term 'AUTO MESSER' and the translation from German to English 'Car Knife'.
