Original and Rare 1968 PUMA White Hunter knife with Jacaranda Hard Wood Handle.

Date Code : 76582 (2nd Qtr 1968)
In its original Green Plastic topped and Gold Cardboard bottom Box with Tan Leather sheath with original warranty card matching the knife number, Puma paperwork and original sales receipt.
The receipt is dated 9th August 1968 and it was purchaed in Buenos Aires Argentina. (These knives did not stay in shops long in those or these days and they were very expensive)
The knife is in almost mint condition with minor marks on the blade and a couple of very minor age marks on the hilt.
Knife has never been out, carried or sharpened and is completely original condition.
Knife model number is 12 6399 Puma White Hunter and control number on the knife and warranty card is 76582 which means it was made in the 2nd Qtr of 1968.
The knife would polish up well but we have decided to leave it in original untouched condition.
Even has its original cardboard sleeve.

The famous White Hunter profile was meant for use as an all purpose knife and to be either used in the field as a hunting/camping knife and came with the leather belt sheath and was regularly purchased by White Hunters travelling through Africa and South America on hunting safaris.

Steel : Genuine Pumaster Steel / 55-57 HRC
Sheath: Tan Leather with fastening stud and leg tie and Puma Emblem. The sheath shows some age signs as can be seen in the detailed images but is excellent condition with all stitching intact.
All Handmade in Solingen, Germany in 1968 and now currently 55 years old and an excellent example of this model knife.
A very rare opportunity to add this to the Puma collection.
