Comes in one of the older style Puma Yellow & Green Plastic Box
(Box is a genuine Puma Box but not the original correct box as the number has been penned in)
Model 3573 Boot Knife.
Date Code on the knife is: 20271 which means it was made in the 2nd Half of 1972 and is currently 51 years old and in 99.5% mint condition.
Overall blade length is 4 1/2", and full length is approx 8" with Puma Solingen Made in Germany Rostfrei Handerbeit Bestell-NR 3573 stamped on the blade with a Rockwell Hardness Test: 55-57 HRC. Full tang.
Comes with original trouser pocket style leather sheath with with metalwork.

This knife is 51 years old and is in excellent and mint condition for age and would be best described as an original knife in 99.5% condition.
The knife has not been used and has not been sharpened. It is in overall excellent condition with a good edge and no chips etc in the blade. It has been left in original condition for the Puma Collector.
The beautiful Sambar Antler handle is in great shape as are the rivets with no dings, dents ,scuffs etc.
The leather Boot sheath is in excellent condition and lovely silver Stainless metalwork.
Lovely solid and aged Sambar Deer Antler Handle which is a nice even thickness.
A couple of superficial age marks on the Leather Sheath that can be seen in the detailed images and a very fine example of a rare model 3573 which are proving harder and harder to find.
