The Silver Trident was originally designed as a combat knife for America's Special Ops soldiers. The engineering of this knife was led by Gerber's best knife designer, William Harsey, and Chief Watson, one of the original plank owners of Navy Seal Team Two.

What makes Silver Trident stand out from all other combat knives is its handle because of its advanced design and sophisticated material (Hytrel). The handle is a dual mold of two types of Hytrel. The inner layer, which hugs the tang, is made of an extremely hard version to provide strength. The outer layer is a softer, textured version to ensure superior grip and control. This high tech material is capable of withstanding heat, UV light, and chemicals. Stainless steel was used to create the butt cap which can be utilized as a hammer.

Aside from its amazing handle, the Silver Trident has a double-edged clip point blade made from heat-treated 154C stainless steel that has a hardness rating of HRC 59-61. Moreover, the blade has a non-reflective black blade coating to reduce glare and prevent corrosion. With this blade, you get a knife that's extremely powerful, durable, and adaptable. It also has excellent edge retention.

Built for Special Ops personnel, this knife has the most technically advanced handle on a combat knife. Resistant to heat, UV light, and chemicals, it never quits. The 154CM double-edged blade is heat treated for edge retention, flexibility, and strength.

The Silver Trident has the most technically advanced handle ever engineered on a combat knife. Its resistant to heat, UV light and chemicals. The brainchild of William Harsey, Jr. and Chief Watson—a founding member of Navy Seal Team 2—the handle is a co-mold of two versions of the material called Hytrel. Inside, there’s a rock-hard version for strength. Outside, there’s the soft, textured version for extreme grip control. Use the stainless steel butt cap as a hammer.

The double-edged clip point blade is 154C stainless steel, heat-treated to achieve a hardness rating of HRC 59-61. That means you get excellent edge retention, strength and flexibility. The non-reflective black blade limits glare and corrosion.

Comes with the black Tactical Cordura Belt sheath with Leg Tie and additional pouch on the front
