This is a 1969 almost mint condition model 11 3591 Waidmesser Gamekeeper knife with original Dark Forest Green Leather Sheath and older style CardBoard bottom/Plastic Green Top box

The knife features a 5'' fixed blade that is marked PUMA-WERK SOLINGEN MADE IN GERMANY HANDARBEIT BESTELL NO. 3591.

The other side of the blade is also marked "ORIGINAL WAIDMESSER FUR SCHALENWILD". Roughly translated meaning Waid knife for Deer and more popularily known as the 'Gamekeeper knife'

The knife also features TWO folding blades (bone saw & skinning) along with a folding corkscrew. There is also a MARKED. 800 SILVER shield inlaid into one of the STAG side plates. CONDITION: Almost perfect for age.

The Sheath is original with no wear and excellent condition for a 52 year old knife.

A real collectable Knife no longer available from Puma Germany and one of the best Puma Knives in the range.

Date Stamp is under the corkscrew and reads 96583 meaning it was produced in the 3rd Qtr of 1969

It is in almost mint and unused condition, no marks, dings etc and is unsharpened and never been used.

Box shows signs of age as seen in the images.

Note: these knives are wholly made in Germany are very rare and collectable.
