Puma Knife: Puma 4 Star Stainless Mini 1985 Folding Lock Knife with original Pouch and Box
Please note that at December 2023 we have been notified by Puma Germany that they will no longer be producing this model in Germany and it will now be manufactured under the SGB (Solingen German Blade) line and assembled in Asia so be quick and get one of the last knives to be fully produced in Germany before they are gone.
This is a rarer Puma 4 Star Mini Stainless Folding Lock Knife made in 1985 in original Puma Cardboard and Plastic Top Box with original Brown Leather Pouch with a date stamp of 9581 and was made in the 1st Half of 1985.
It also has the Puma Gold emblem on the frame.
Stamped on the blade is 730 ****
It measures 2 7/8" closed with a 2" drop point blade, and is the perfect pocket folder.
The classy Stainless Steel handle is inlaid with the Gold Puma logo medallion. Sturdy, sharp and stylish. Made in Germany.
* Few storage marks on the box and the spine of the knife (which would polish out but we have chosen to leave it in original un-molested 95% perfect unsharpened condition and it is rare to find this knife in its original packaging etc.
Rockwell tested to a hardness of 57-59 for the perfect combination of strength and ease of sharpening. Hand made and genuine 1985 model Puma Made in Germany.
Although these are still produced by Puma.de this particular one is a 1985 rarer model and comes complete in its original Green Puma plastic and Cardboard box, leather pouch and original 730 matchng numbered sticker on the box with date stamp on the lock of 9581.
