Small Rare Sheffield Bowie.

Hand Made in Sheffield England by the John Nowill Company.

This is an older knife we think from the 1960's hence us putting it in to the Pre-owned, rare and collectable category.

The knife is unsharpened, of full tang construction with a satin finish Rosewood Handle, a Brass Guard and a mirror finish blade with a few age marks as can be seen in the images, (but it is probably 60+ years old)

Overall approx length is 10", with 5 1/2" high mirror polished carbon steel blade with some file work on the top back of the blade.

Stamped on the blade is: JOHN NOWILL & SONS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND ESTABLISHED .A.D.1700

and "Bowie Knife" with the cross key emblem

Good sturdy British made Bowie with a traditional Rosewood handle with brass finger guard.

Comes with original Tan Brown leather belt sheath stamped Sheffield England.

Hand made in Sheffield England and in very good overall condition for age.
