Stamped on blade is Aitor Commando A-163287.
The knife is a really good quality heavy weight knife and is in almost mint unused condition with just a few small marks on the Scabbard where it has been on display and in and out of the scabbard.
The legendary Aitor Commando survival knife originally designed together with the German manufacturer Mauser for the German army. Powerful ultra resistant knife for multiple extreme survival situations.
With a 175mm blade and overall length of 310mm, this heavy duty miltiary/survival knife boasts a grippy ergonomic handle cast in robust magnesium-aluminium , powder coated with black epoxi and heat treated to 58Rc.
The handle has a hollow capacity and comes complete with the standard Aitor survival kit enclosed by the heavy-duty screwed buttcap.
The 17.5-cm blade ground from 5-mm Cr Mo Va stainless bladesteel has a powdercoated satin-grey finish with a spear point, slight Spanish-style (shallow) reverse curve and a saw-back.
Hardness 55/58 HRC
The handle of the knife includes a small survival kit with Compass.
The Scabbard also has a secret compartment which has slots for 4 x 5.56mm - 7.62mm NATO Rifle Cartridges (not included)
One piece stainless construction with solid textured handle.
