Dead Fowl, and live bird launcher.

This manual launcher is designed to be pegged to the ground in cover with a cord attached to the release arm (cord and pegs are not included).

As the dog is working the cover and approaches the concealed launcher, the cord is pulled by  the handler or steward and the bird is released giving the dog the representation of a wild bird being flushed. The dog can then be encouraged to sit and remain steady whilst the live bird flies away or a dummy or dead fowl dummy is shot at and retrieved.

These launchers have been known to be used with live game such as Quail and Pigeons however, you must check your state game and firearms laws and restrictions before using any live birds.

Heavy penalties may apply for illegal use of live game and unnecessary cruelty to animals if used outside of the law.

This launcher is pictured with a Dokken Dead Fowl Gambrel Quail not included in the sale but available on our website and the launcher pouch is big enough for a small bird up to pigeon size.
